“Okay Phil. We got a dog, okay? And this dog’s so cute- you’ll love him. He does all the tricks! Roll over, Hide your eyes, the whole nine. So we got this dog, and there are parts throughout the whole video shot through the dog’s eyes. In Black and White! You see what I did there?
Phil Collins:
“Cool mate.”
Director:
“So we got this dog, and he sneaks into sound check. A very highly controlled area normally. But – not to a dog! So this dog’s creepin’ around and causing trouble. Cuz he’s a dog! He don’t know any better! And then maybe he takes a shit by the drummer, takes a piss on the guitarist, and runs away.”
Phil Collins:
“Love it. Just don’t put me behind the drums again.”
